Activities DAY 4
🖌️ Cultural Art Presentation
The morning began with the “Cultural Art Presentation” session, where participants discovered how different cultures shape artistic expression and how art reflects cultural values, heritage, and environment.
Through inspiring examples, they explored Aboriginal dot paintings, Japanese ukiyo-e, African masks, and textile arts, learning how history, society, and nature influence creative traditions around the world.
Later, each national team shared examples of traditional and contemporary art from their own countries. Participants reflected on how these artistic forms represent their identity, creativity, and cultural heritage, sparking engaging conversations about art as a bridge between past and present. 🌏🎨
💬 Intercultural Dialogue: Art and Identity
After a coffee break, participants joined the “Intercultural Dialogue: Art and Identity” workshop. Divided into small groups, they explored topics such as:
Art as a reflection of cultural heritage
Art as a tool for intercultural exchange
Challenges in preserving traditional art forms
Each group presented their reflections through creative role plays and sketches, followed by interactive Q&A sessions. The discussions encouraged meaningful dialogue and reflection, highlighting how art can unite people while celebrating diversity. 🤝💡
🌿 Cultural Art Workshop: Textile and Fabric Art
After lunch, participants engaged in the “Cultural Art Workshop: Textile and Fabric Art”, combining creativity with sustainability.
They explored the cultural significance of textile arts — including quilting, embroidery, and weaving — and learned how recycled fabrics can be transformed into expressive, eco-friendly artworks.
Working in mixed-country groups, participants incorporated cultural motifs, patterns, and sustainable techniquessuch as stitching, layering, and fabric manipulation. Each piece reflected both heritage and environmental consciousness, showing how cultural expression and sustainability can go hand in hand. ✨🧵
🎨 Gallery Exhibition and Reflection
The day concluded with a gallery-style exhibition, where participants proudly displayed their textile creations, shared the cultural inspirations behind their works, and exchanged feedback and reflections. The exhibition was a celebration of color, culture, and collaboration, embodying the spirit of unity through art. 🌟
We would like to extend a special thanks to ΜΑΣ ΑΕΤΟΣ Άνω Σταυρού for their continued partnership and invaluable support, making this intercultural artistic journey possible. 💚
