Activities DAY 5

The fifth day of #EcoArt was a day full of creativity, innovation, and meaningful collaboration at ΓΕΝΙΚΟ ΛΥΚΕΙΟ ΡΕΝΤΙΝΑΣ, as international participants joined forces with local Greek students under the EU-funded Erasmus+ Youth Mobility Project (Project No: 2024-3-EL02-KA152-YOU-000272187). 🌍✨

🖌️ Hands-On Nature-Themed Art Workshop

The morning kicked off with a hands-on art workshop, where participants and local students created nature-themed artworks using waste paper.

They explored techniques to transform discarded materials into beautiful and meaningful art, while discussing the importance of recycling and creative reuse in protecting the environment. The workshop encouraged collaboration across cultures, as participants exchanged ideas and inspired each other to rethink waste as a resource.

The school also presented its ongoing eco-art projects, showcasing students’ artistic creations made from recycled materials, and emphasizing their commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. 🌱🎨

💻 Skill-Building Workshop: Digital Art with Recycled Materials

Later in the day, participants took part in the “Skill-Building Workshop: Digital Art with Recycled Materials – Practice”.

Divided into six groups, they applied digital art techniques learned earlier in the project. Using computers and digital art software, participants designed creative digital artworks incorporating textures and patterns inspired by recycled materials.

This workshop highlighted how technology and creativity can come together to enhance environmental educationand promote sustainability through art. ✨💡

🌿 Gallery Exhibition: Bridging Traditional and Digital Art

To conclude the day, a gallery-style exhibition showcased the participants’ and students’ digital and recycled artworks.

They shared their creative processes, inspirations, and environmental messages, blending traditional and digital art techniques. The exhibition symbolized how art and technology can unite people, ideas, and cultures to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability. 🎨💻💚
